DON BOSCO PREP (24-1) --
I moved the Ironmen to the top spot by virtue of being 7-1 vs. teams ranked in the State Top 20 and its 15-game win streak. Bosco captured its first Cergen County Jamboree title since 2008 as it beat rival Bergen Catholic, 53-52, for the second time this season. Their lone loss is to BC and there could be a Round 4 in the Non Public North A final. Not even the Greg Toal fiasco could distract the Ironmen as they received another stellar performance from Marcellus Earlington, who hit 1 of 2 free throws with 6 seconds left and the Ironmen held on. Added a win over Our Savior Lutheran 68-57. |
