ST. ANTHONY (14-4) -- The Friars had a big week as they split two tight games against Top 15 state-ranked teams and won an easy game on Saturday in beating Iona Prep (NY), 59-38. Last Monday night at Bergen Catholic they trailed most of the way, but found a way to win, 61-58, in overtime as RJ Cole hit for 23 points. However, they were not as lucky as they dropped a 48-46 decision to Newark East Side as they hit a shot at the buzzer. The next big game for the Friars will be against St. Augustine on Valentine’s Day at home. |

DON BOSCO PREP (18-1) --
The Ironmen, ranked 10th in the state, won the rematch with their rival Bergen Catholic on Friday night at home, 66-61, using a 35-21 advantage in the middle two quarters to help them to the victory. Marcellus Earlington had 17 points and 13 rebounds in the win. They also posted a convincing win over Tenafly, 69-39, in the Jamboree setting up a meeting with Old Tappan in the quarterfinals on Saturday. They also added a win over Burke Catholic (NY) 60-42. BERGEN CATHOLIC (15-4) --
The Crusaders dropped the rematch with Don Bosco on Friday night, 66-61, as a 14-0 Bosco run to end the third quarter did them in. They played a great game last Monday night, leading St. Anthony most of the game but they could not convert on the final shot of regulation and went on to lose in overtime, 61-58. They posted a 66-49 win over Northern Highlands on Wednesday night and beat up on Bergen Tech, 69-39, in the Jamboree. Hackensack on Saturday |

JOSEPH REGIONAL (17-3) --The Green Knights penciled themselves into the Jamboree quarterfinals against Pascack Hills on Saturday as they beat Northern Highlands on their home court, 63-40, behind Joseph Radl’s 21 points. On Wednesday night they were pushed by Pascack Valley in a 77-73 win at home as Chauncey Hawkins provided the difference with 38 points. Also beat Paramus, 80-39, and get Don Bosco at home Tuesday |

TEANECK (16-5) --The Highwaymen blew out Fair Lawn on Saturday in the Jambo, 85-57, to set up a quarterfinal matchup with fifth-seeded Dwight Englewood Adrian Baucom led the way with 25 points. They beat Demarest, 66-51, and then beat Pascack Valley, 73-45, in a game that Ja’Quaye James had 22 points. On Sunday they traveled to Harrisburg (PA) and won 80-63 behind James' 30 points, which included six 3s. |

NV/OLD TAPPAN (14-3) --
The Knights easily beat River Dell in the Jambo, 57-35, as Justin Minaya had 16 points, and now set their sights on second-seeded Don Bosco on Saturday in the quarterfinals. Last Tuesday night they beat Ridgewood at home, 66-58, as Minaya finished with 24 points, using a 23-16 fourth quarter advantage to propel them to the win. Tenafly and Demarest during the week. |

KENNEDY (13-5) -- The Knights are rolling as they picked up three wins last week in the run up to the Passaic County Tournament. It started with a 71-57 win over Shabazz as Jaylon Colon struck for 22 points and then they knocked off Bergen Tech handily, 88-64, and Tamir Williams provided the fire power with 20 points. Finally, they beat Sanford (DE) on the road, 66-48, as Colon had 14 points. This week Wayne Valley and American History. |

DWIGHT-ENGLEWOOD (17-1) --
Big comeback win on Saturday as the Balldogs trailed 12th-seeded Ridgewood by 17 points in the second half before rallying for a 67-56 win as Jordan McKoy and Tyson Etienne struck for 23 points and 22 points, respectively. They will meet Teaneck on Saturday in the Jambo quarterfinals. They had easy wins over Harrison, 78-49, and Lyndhurst, 67-36. During the week they will meet Ridgefield, New Milford at home and Bergen Charter. |

HACKENSACK (15-5) --
Busy week for the Comets as they posted four wins including in the Jambo against Pascack Valley, 65-60, on Sunday. They rallied from a halftime deficit of 33-28 to pull away in the second half in large part to Atiba Taylor, Jr’s 36 points, which included four triples. They will meet top seed Bergen Catholic next Saturday. Started last week with a 70-65 win over Tenafly as Taylor had 22 points. They then beat Ramapo, at home, 71-57, pulling away in the fourth as Razeyah Surrell had 20. On Friday they held off Elizabeth, 65-61, as they built a big lead before holding on, 65-61. Ridgewood and Paramus during the week. |

ST. PETER'S PREP (13-5) --The Marauders picked up three easy wins last week as they get ready to visit North Bergen on Tuesday night in a big game. They started the week with an easy win over Lincoln, 63-43, as they led 32-11 at the break as Brendan Thiele had 15 points. They then knocked off Ferris in a noncompetitive game, 76-37, as this one was 45-19 at halftime and, finally, they beat Berks Catholic (PA), 40-31, as Shayne Simon led with 12 in the Bridge and Tunnel Classic in Jersey City. They get Memorial on Thursday and Rutgers Prep on Saturday |

PASCACK HILLS (15-2) --
The Cowboys made it seven straight wins on Saturday as they gutted out a 39-33 victory over Ramapo in the Bergen Jamboree and will advance to meet St. Joseph Regional on Saturday in the quarterfinals. Nick Guillemain provided most of the scoring as he accounted for 19 points in the win. The Cowboys also had a nice win by beating DePaul, 66-59, on Thursday as Guillemain went for 29 points, and finally, beat Fort Lee, 77-50. Cliffside Park and Westwood during the week. |

The Patriots, in their only game of the week, knocked off Fair Lawn, 68-61, in overtime and needed every one Joey Belli’s 20 points, which included four triples. . The Indians were enjoying a 33-28 lead on Hackensack at the half, but were outscored 21-13 in the third quarter and lost 74-65 in the Round of 16 of the Bergen County Jamboree on Sunday morning. On Wednesday they almost pulled off the big upset on the road before falling to St. Joseph Regional, 77-73. Alex Lin had 31 points in that loss. They then were beaten by Teaneck, 73-45. After stunning Hudson Catholic last week at the buzzer they backed it up by winning two of their next three starting with a 62-44 win over Bayonne as they used an 18-5 fourth quarter to win as Isiah Small had 23 points. Also beat a good North Bergen team, 65-52, as again they used a big fourth quarter, outscoring the Bruins 24-11 in the final frame. Small again had 23 points to lead his team. Finally they lost to Union, 57-54. At Hoboken on Thursday. |

RIDGEWOOD (11-8) -- The Maroons blew a golden chance to advance to the quarterfinals next week in the Jambo as they blew a 17-point lead to Dwight-Englewood and lost 67-56. They opened last week losing to Old Tappan, 66-58, on the road and came back with a 52-34 win over Indian Hills. They get Hackensack and Northern Highlands both on the road this week |
