ST. ANTHONY (19-4) -- The Friarsstarted and ended the week with a pair of one-point wins. Started against St. Augustine and a 49-48 win. RJ Cole had 19 points, but missed the front end of a late 1-and-1 before St Augustine missed a shot at the buzzer. The week concluded with a 60-59 win at Camden as Cole had 26 points, including the game winner with 5 seconds left. In the middle game they beat Pascack Valley, 75-44. Gil St. Bernard on Monday and Bishop Eustace Friday. |

DON BOSCO PREP (22-1) --
The Ironmen exacted some revenge from last year’s Jamboree final loss to St. Joseph Regional as they won on Sunday night at FDU, 67-57, to advance to Friday night’s final against rival Bergen Catholic. Chris Paul ,who scored 13 points in the fourth quarter to put the game away, finished with 26. Last Tuesday they beat DePaul, 87-62, as Marcellus Earlington had 20 points |

ST. JOSEPH REGIONAL (20-5) --The Green Knights battled Don Bosco in the semifinals of the Bergen County Jamboree on Sunday night in a rematch of last year’s final and lost 67-57. Chauncey Hawkins ended with 22 points, including 16 in the second half, but it was not enough. Last Tuesday night they used Hawkins' 26 points to beat Bergen Catholic, 64-57, . Will open the states against Delbarton on March 2. |

BERGEN CATHOLIC (19-5) --
The Crusaders disposed of Teaneck on Sunday night,
71-61, in the Bergen County Jamboree semifinals and will meet Don Bosco Prep on Friday night for the championship. Gabriel Stefanini finished with 18 points as the Crusaders had a 52-46 lead after three quarters. They lost to St. Joseph Regional on Tuesday night, 64-57, and in doing so handed the league title to Bosco. On Wednesday they beat Bergen Tech, 81-50. |

HUDSON CATHOLIC (21-3) --
The Hawksadvanced to Tuesday night's Hudson County Tournament semifinal round as they dismantled Hoboken, 103-57, in the quarterfinals and will face Lincoln in an 8:30 p.m. start at St. Peter's College. Jahvon Quinerly had 31 points and Luther Muhammad had 30 points in the win. |

TEANECK (20-6) --The Highwaymen dropped a 71-61 decision to Bergen Catholic in the Bergen County Jamboree semifinals at FDU. Ja’Quaye James had 34 points, including eight 3s, in the losing effort. On Tuesday they held on to beat a tough Old Tappan team, 49-47, as they watched a potential 3-point shot at the buzzer go awry. James had 17 points in the win. Wayne Valley to open the states on Feb. 28. |

KENNEDY (16-5) -- The Knights advanced to the Passaic County final on Saturday as they rallied from 7 points down entering the fourth quarter against Wayne Hills to force overtime and then won 61-59 in a thriller. Tamir Williams led the way with 17 points and 12 rebounds and the Knights will meet Eastside in the finals. Earlier in the week, they got 26 points from Jaylon Colon and beat their cross town rival Eastside, 63-60, using a 21-8 second quarter to create some separation. |

EASTSIDE (16-3) --
The top seeded Ghosts advanced to the Passaic County final on Saturday as they knocked off a pesky DePaul team, 61-51, and will meet Kennedy, a team they just lost to earlier in the week. Junior Santiago dropped in 23 points in helping the Ghosts advance to the title game. On Tuesday they lost to Kennedy, 63-60. Tuesday they get Old Tappan and Wednesday Arts. |

The Cowboys have now won 12 of their last 13 games and started last week with a great win against Dwight Englewood, 69-67, on Tuesday. They then used Nick Guillemain’s 40 points to take down Wayne Valley, 78-59, in a game that they led 40-26 at the break. NV/OLD TAPPAN (16-7) --
On Saturday, the Golden Knights were just too physical for Dwight-Englewood and pulled away for a 69-61 win at home as Kevin Eifert led with 22 points. On Tuesday they were a 3-point shot at the buzzer away from beating Teaneck, but the shot missed and they lost, 49-47. The two can meet in the state sectional semifinal in two weeks. They also lost to Pope John, 60-49. Eastside on Tuesday on the road and Montville in the first round of the states on February 28. |

The Patriots had their sights on the Passaic County championship game next Saturday as they led by 7 going to the fourth quarter against Kennedy, but could not hold on for the win and lost, 61-59, in overtime. They did beat Passaic Tech, 64-58, behind Jason Modak’s 16 points and also beat Sayerville, 83-78, as Justin Hodge had 20 points. Wednesday against Hackensack |

Started the week with a disappointing loss to Pascack Hills as they led big and let it slip away as they lost 69-67. Rebounded with a win over Queen of Peace, 53-41, as Tyson Etienne had 18 points, but suffered a physical loss to Old Tappan, 69-61. Tuesday Secaucus and states start March 1 . |

They then played St. Anthony tight for a half, but ended up losing, 75-44, to the Friars. Finally, they beat West Milford, 76-61, as Vasel led with 20 points. Pascack Hills on Tuesday at home. |

The Lions clicked off three nice wins last week, starting with Ramapo on Monday, as they fell behind 18-7 before rallying for the comfortable 62-53 win behind Najuan Jenkins 16 points. They then used his 25 points to hammer Union City, 74-25. Finally, in the Hudson county quarterfinals on Saturday, they beat fourth seeded North Bergen, 50-44, after being down three heading into the fourth quarter. The Hawks picked up two wins last week, starting with a 44-40 victory over Demarest as Jack Capasso led with 12 points. Also, beat Becton 58-51 on Friday as Matt Monaghan had 17 in the win. At Ridgefield Park on Tuesday and Dwight Morrow to open the states on February 28. |
