ST. ANTHONY (23-0) --
The fourth ranked team in the nation ran its unbeaten streak to 23, but not before it met some resistance from the sixth ranked team in NJ, St. Augustine, in a 52-41 win in the Shoot Down Cancer Classic in Richland, NJ. The Hermits used a 12-0 run at the end of the third to get to within 36-32, but Jagen Mosely’s 21 points helped the Friars pull away. The two head coaches in that gave had a combined win total of 2,005, with Bob Hurley owning 1,153 of them. Tuesday against Snyder. |

HUDSON CATHOLIC (19-3) --The Hawks knocked off Marist, 69-55, in the Hudson County Tournament quarterfinals and will see fourth-seeded Snyder in the semifinals on Wednesday. Jahvon Quinerly scored 19 points in the win as they held a 38-21 lead at the half. Earlier in the week they beat Lincoln (NY), 73-52, as Luther Muhammed connected for 26 points. They will get St. Joseph Regional on March 4 in the states. |

DON BOSCO PREP (23-2) --
The Ironmen knocked off Teaneck in the Bergen County semifinals, 67-57, and will meet St. Joseph Regional in the finals on Friday night. They opened up a 19-9 lead after the first quarter and led 38-28 at the half, mainly due to their 32-17 advantage on the boards. Teaneck rallied to tie it at 43 before Bosco finished the game on a 24-14 run. Brandon Anderson finished with 21. Earlier in the week they beat Northern Highlands, 66-55, as Marcellus Earlington had 15 points. First state game will be March 4 |

EASTSIDE (18-5) --
Make it nine straight wins for the Ghosts as they picked up a pair over rival Kennedy, with the second one on Saturday as they advanced to the Passaic County final with a 61-52 win. They will meet Wayne Valley. Nhazier Smith scored 24 points in the win and he had 17 points two days earlier in a 54-42 win over the Knights. Earlier in the week they beat Clifton, 49-29. In the states they will open up with Passaic on March 1 at home. |

TEANECK (21-4) --
They lost to Don Bosco, 67-57, in the semifinals of the Bergen County Jamboree despite Juwuan Daniels' 27 points. They rallied to tie the game late in the third, but Bosco broke the pressure consistently down the stretch. They beat Pascack Valley, 77-46, as Ja’Quaye James scored 27 points. They open the states with Northern Highlands at home on February 29. |

ST. JOSEPH REGIONAL (16-8) -- The Green Knights advanced to the Bergen County Jamboree final with a 51-43 win over Pascack Hills. The game was tight throughout until the final 4:30 when SJR finished on an 11-4 run. Nate Garvey led with 17 points. Earlier in the week they lost to Bergen Catholic 57-44, as they never recovered from being down 21-8 after the first quarter. The Knights also picked up wins over Passaic Tech, 81-46, as Chauncey Hawkins erupted for 30 points and then beat Demarest, 53-41. |

RAMAPO (21-3) --
The Green Raiders got back on track with a 71-28 win over Paramus and followed that up with a defensive gem vs. Paramus Catholic in winning 53-39 as Matt Latka scored 18 points. They will open the states against Tenafly on February 29. |

BERGEN CATHOLIC (18-6) --
Two really good wins last week starting with a 57-44 win over St. Joseph Regional using a hot first quarter to propel them. Taj Benning and Gabe Stefanini each scored 18 points in the win. Trailed by 5 points entering the fourth quarter against Hackensack , but were able to push it to overtime where they won 58-49. On March 4 they will get the winner of Paramus Catholic/DePaul and Seton Hall after that if they win in the Non-Public North A state sectional bracket. |

PASCACK HILLS (20-2) --
The Cowboys, fresh off their upset win over top-seeded Ramapo last Sunday, took St. Joseph Regional to the final 90 seconds before succumbing, 51-44, in the Jambo semifinals Nick Guillemain and Evan Schumer each had 14 points to keep them close. They will now take aim at the league title and will need a win Tuesday night at home vs Ramsey to share it with the Rams. They will open the states vs. Dumont on March 1 as the No. 2 seed in North 1, Group 2 |

WAYNE VALLEY (19-3) -- Other than a loss to Don Bosco Prep, the only other team to beat the Indians thus far has been rivals Wayne Hills, which has done it twice. The second time was last Teusday, but Valley got its revenge by opening a 26-9 halftime lead and held on, 47-44, to reach the Passaic County final for just the second time in school history where it will see Eastside. They added a win over West Essex, 39-34, as Nick Goodwin had 18 points. Open the state tournament on Feb. 29 at home against Montville. |

WAYNE HILLS (18-4) --
The Patriots split their two games with Wayne Valley last week, but would like to have reversed the results as the the loss came in the Passaic County semifinals, 47-44. Their 53-35 win came in a regular season game as Joey Kenny led with 14 points. They also beat Morris Catholic, 64-57. Open the states against Sparta on February 29. |

In their only game last week the Comets held a 5-point lead on Bergen Catholic heading to the fourth quarter, but suffered a 58-49 overtime loss. They will open the states on March 1 against Ridgewood and could see Eastside in the North 1, Group 4 state sectional quarterfinals. |

The Rams picked up two wins last week, beating Dwight Morrow 63-33 as Jack Gaffney scored 23 and then beat Lakeland, 63-54, as Christian Tesoriero had 22 points. Pascack Hills looms on Tuesday night for a chance to win the league outright. Westwood in the states on March 1. |

The Knights needed to rally in the fourth quarter to defeat Dwight-Englewood in double overtime, 54-49, as Justin Minaya scored had 20 points. Also knocked off Passaic Valley, 46-38, as Minaya had 19 points. Demarest and Eastside this week before opening the states with West Essex on February 29 |

They upended Dickinson in the Hudson County quarterfinals, 65-57, using a 22-7 first quarter to fuel the win. They were led by Kenyon Goodson, who had 23 points and will get Hudson Catholic in the semifinals on Wednesday night. They also got a huge 64-55 win over Union City in a league game as Ronald Washington poured in 21. |

UNION CITY (20-4) --The Soaring Eagles advanced to the Hudson County semifinals with a 64-56 win over Lincoln and will meet St. Peters Prep on Wednesday in the semis. . Kenneth Aviles had 15 points to lead the way as they held a 36-24 advantage at the break. Earlier in the week they lost to Snyder, 64-55. They open the states on March 1 as they host Belleville. |

The Marauders advanced to the Hudson County semifinals by beating Bayonne, 54-46, as Brendan Thiele led the team with 13 points. Will play Union City in the semifinals on Wednesday. Earlier in the week they struggled but beat Queen of Peace 55-54 as Shamar Waterman scored 15 points. |

DWIGHT-ENGLEWOOD (18-4) --
The Bulldogs crack the Top 20 for the first time this season due to their impressive last 15 games, of which they have won 13. The only two losses in that stretch coming to Ramapo in the Jambo and Saturday’s 54-49 double overtime loss to Old Tappan. Tyson Etienne and Jordan McKoy each had 12 points. Earlier in the week they beat Lyndhurst, 66-27, and Harrison, 61-19, as Seon Layne had 9 points. They will play Passaic Tech on Saturday and open with the states on March 1 vs. Marist. |
