ST. ANTHONY (21-0) --
The top ranked team in New Jersey and the No. 4 team in the country got a scare from Coastal Academy Blue. The Friars led at halftime, 30-29, and held on for a 64-61 win to keep their unbeaten season alive. The Friars also beat Bishop McNamara (MD), 60-42, as RJ Cole scored 16 points and also beat Bergen Catholic at home on, 61-38, behind Jagen Moseley's 18 points. They are the No. 1 seed in Non-Public B North and will roll to the title before meeting either The patrick School or Roselle Catholic for the state title. |

HUDSON CATHOLIC (17-3) --Three more wins last week as the Hawks beat Snyder,
71-53, as Luther Muhammed and Javon Quinerly had 19 and 18 points, respectively. They then beat North Bergen, 98-40, and finally Barack Obama Charter, 59-23. They are seeded fourth in Non-Public A North and will face St. Joseph Regional in the quarterfinals with a potential trip to Don Bosco Prep for the section semis. |

DON BOSCO PREP (21-2) --
The Ironmen beat Paramus Catholic in the Jambo, 46-38, to advance to the semifinals against Teaneck at 7 pm at FDU. They needed a 19-7 fourth quarter to overcome a 31-27 deficit and were helped by Omar Mostafa, who scored 14 points in the win. Earlier in the week they beat the same PC team, 73-47, as Chris Paul scored 18 points and then beat DePaul, 82-57, behind Marcellous Earlington's 19. The Ironmen are the top seed in the Non-Public A North and will likely play St. Peters Prep in the quarterfinals. |

TEANECK (20-3) --
The Highwaymen used a 32-16 second half to take out Ramsey in the Jambo quarterfinals, 51-40, to advance to the semifinals against Don Bosco Prep. Jawaun Daniels had 24 in the win. It are a rematch from the Jan. 14 game where Don Bosco won 58-47. Teaneck has now won 12 of its last 13 since that game with the only loss coming against NJ power Seton Hall Prep. Started last week with a 62-50 win over Old Tappan as Ja’quaye James had 25 points, then beat Bergenfield, 61-48. They are the No. 2 seed in North 1,
Group 3 and could face a sectional semifinal matchup with Wayne Valley. |

EASTSIDE (15-6) --
The Ghosts had a good week, starting with a big 56-55 win over St. Joseph as Lamar Johnson scored 19 points to rally his team. They squeaked by Passaic,
59-58, the following night as Terry Gatling scored 13 points then added a 59-40 bwin over Passaic Tech as Lamar Johnson once again led his team with 15 points. Finally, in the Passaic County quarterfinals, they used a 29-10 fourth quarter to Manchester, 64-39, setting up a semifinal matchup with Kennedy. They will meet 2 days prior in a league game. They are the No. 5 seed in North 1, Group 4 and should see Hackensack in the section quarterfinals. |

ST. JOSEPH REGIONAL (13-7) -- The Green Knights seem to own Bergen Catholic as they have now beaten the Crusaders five of the last six times. They won again on Sunday in the Jambo quarterfinals, winning 60-45 to set up a matchup with Cinderella Pascack Hills in the semifinals at 5 pm at FDU. Earlier in the week they lost a close 56-55 decision to Eastside, but then bounced back with a drubbing of Paramus Catholic, 72-47, as Nate Garvey scored 27 points. They are the No. 5 seed in the Non-Public A playoffs and will have to play at Hudson Catholic on March 4. |

WAYNE VALLEY (17-2) -- The Indians setup a rematch with their in-town rival Wayne Hills on Saturday in the Passaic County semifinals after knocking off Passaic Tech, 64-51, behind Nick Goodwin’s 22 points. Earlier in the week they had easy wins over Passaic Valley, 55-42, as Nick Guilliano had 17 points and Fair Lawn, 69-37. The Indians are the No. 3 seed in North 1, Group 3 and could see Old Tappan in the sectional quarterfinals. They will see Wayne Hills on the road Tuesday as a preview to Saturday’s contest. |

UNION CITY (19-3) --The Soaring Eagles added three more wins last week to make it nine straight and 11 of 12 as they set aim at a Hudson County title. They started with a 73-67 win over St. Peters Prep and then knocked off Bayonne, 74-62, as Abraham Feliz scored 21 points. Finally, they handily beat Dwight Morrow on Saturday, 76-53. They are the No. 1 seed in North 1, Group 4. |

PASCACK HILLS (18-1) --
The Cowboys pulled off the upset of the Bergen County Jamboree as they rallied late to stun top-seeded Ramapo, 45-43, by holding the Raiders to only 18 points in the second half. Finished the game on a 19-5 run. Evan Schumer connected on three 3s, including a 20-plus footer at the buzzer to end the thirrd to pull to within 6. Nick Guillemain finished with 15, including the go-ahead 3-point play in the final minute.The Cowboys will meet St. Joseph in the semifinals. They added two wins by beating Westwood, 41-26, and Park Ridge, 55-36. They are the No. 2 seed in North 1, Group 2. |

RAMAPO (18-1) --
The Green Raiders have struggled with their scoring as of late and that caught up to them on Sunday in the final Bergen County quarterfinal game as they dropped a stunning 45-43 decision to Pascack Hills scoring only 5 points in the final 10 ,minutes.they led throughout, including a 12-point lead in the third quarter, but were unable to hang on. This was their second straight loss as they fell to Hackensack on Thursday ,70-57, in a game in which the Raiders scored only 39 points in the final three quarters. On Tuesday they beat Northern Highlands, 52-38, behind Chris Gordon’s 15 points. |

BERGEN CATHOLIC (16-6) --
The Crusaders suffered another loss at the hands of St. Joseph, this time in the Bergen County Jamboree quarterfinals, 60-45. Two days earlier they were beaten by No. 1 ranked St. Anthony, 61-38, and their only win last week was a 75-49 drubbing of DePaul as David Logan had 17 points. They are the No. 3 seed in Non-Public A and should see Paramus Catholic in the sectional quarterfinals. |

The Comets pulled off a huge win at home by beating Ramapo, 70-57, to most likely gain a share of the league title. They outscored the Raiders 59-39 after the first quarter. MJ Richardson scored 27 off the bench in the win. In the other two games they beat Paramus, 73-51, as Edward Emedoh had 19 points and, lastly, downed Indian Hills,
69-54. They are the No. 4 seed in the North 1, Group 4 and most likely will play Eastside in the sectional quarterfinals |

The Patriots, the No. 1 seed in the Passaic County Tournament, doubled up Passaic in the quarterfinals on Saturday winning 84-40 behind Dorian Hodge’s 21 points to set up a semifinal showdown with Wayne Valley. In earlier games last week they beat up on Fair Lawn, 68-41, as Joe Kenny had 15 points and Lakeland, 60-41, as Joey Belli had 19 points. The Patriots are the No. 4 seed in North 1, Group 3 and should see River Dell in the sectional quarterfinals. |

The Tigers picked up one win in three games last week starting with a 58-47 loss to North 13th Street Tech and then dropping a 71-53 decision to Hudson Catholic. Beat Memorial, 75-66, as Ronald Washington and Kenyon Goodson scored 22 and 21 points, respectively. They get Union City in a big game on Wednesday night and are the No. 8 seed in North 2, Group 3 and will open with Cranford at home on Feb 29. |
