The Blue Wolves advanced to the County Finals with a 48-38 win over Queen of Peace at Ramapo College as Bre Bellerand led with 15 points. They will meet Saddle River Day in the final next Sunday in a rematch from a year ago. They also met in December where they beat SRD by 8. Last Monday they were upset by (7-13) Gil St. Bernard, 53-44, but bounced back with a 55-40 win over Bridgewater Raritan as James Madison commit Breyenne Bellerand had 22 points. West Morris on Tuesday. Picked up the top seed in the North Non-Public B for the states and get a bye to start. |

SADDLE RIVER DAY (16-5) --
After a slow start for Michelle Sidor, she got untracked in the second half to finish with 23 points,in a 58-38 win over IHA in the Bergen County semifinals. The Rebels look to repeat next Sunday against Immaculate Conception, who they beat in last year's county final but lost to in December on the same court. Last Tuesday they played a Top 20 team in Notre Dame and won 53-51 as Sidor had 21 points. Kennedy on Tuesday. The Rebels were awarded the No. 2 seed in Non-Public North B get a bye to start. |

QUEEN OF PEACE (13-5) --
The Griffins' lack of depth finally caught up with them. Playing with only the 7 girls they have all season, they lost to Immaculate Conception in the semifinals of the Bergen County Tournament on Sunday, 48-38. Earlier in the week, they picked up a nice win as they beat prep school Life Center, 53-50, behind Raven Farley-Clark's 18 points and 20 rebounds. Marion P. Thomas Charter on Tuesday and Morristown on the road on Thursday. They are the No. 4 seed in Non-Public North B and play Morristown Beard to start. Will most likely get another crack at IC in the sectional semifinals. |

PASCACK VALLEY (20-1) --
The Indians picked up two more wins last week as they beat Demarest, 65-35, led by Briana Smith's 17 points and then beat Bergenfield, 66-20, as Briana Wong led with 14 points. Cresskill on Friday night. They will be the No. 1 seed in North 1, Group 3 and will open the states against Tenafly. |

IHA (17-5) --
The Blue Eagles hung around with Saddle River Day in the first half of the Bergen County semifinal on Sunday, but faded in the second half in falling 58-38. They picked up a nice win during the week as they beat Holy Angels, 50-47, in overtime as Katie Jones had 12. IHA is the No. 2 seed in the Non-Public North A and will meet Mount St. Dominic on February 28. |

WESTWOOD (19-2) --
The Cardinals ran past Pascack Hills on Saturday afternoon, 49-38, as they were led by Sam McClutchy, who had 21 points and 10 rebounds. Defeated River Dell last Tuesday night, 59-36, as McClutchy had 24 points. They will be the No. 2 seed in North 1, Group 2 when the state tournament begins on February 27 and will get Dumont in the first round. Fort Lee on Tuesday. |

MARIST (17-0) -- In their only game the Royal Knights beat Kearny, 61-39, as Breyanna Frazier had 18 points and Alyssa Gomez had 15. They were given the top seed in the Hudson County tournament and should see the winner of Hudson Catholic and Lincoln the semis down the road. They also earned the no. 3 seed in the very tough Non-Public B North and will see St. Dominic to open the state tournament on March 1. |

KENNEDY (16-5) -- The Knights easily won their Passaic County quarterfinal game on Saturday as they beat Passaic Tech 68-41 and will meet Wayne Hills next Saturday at Kennedy HS at 11am, a team they lost to 53-46 on January 17.. Latice Cunningham erupted for 23 points in the win over PCT. They will entertain SRD on Tuesday and play at Queen of Peace on Friday. The Knights were given the No. 5 seed in North 1, Group 4 and will open the state tournament at home on Feb 27 against East Orange. |

RAMAPO (14-6) --The Green Raiders have won 9 of their last 10 with the lone loss being to Saddle River Day. They upended Glen Rock on Saturday, 47-42, as Emily Calabrese had 20 points and 10 rebounds. They also beat Paramus, 40-16, on Tuesday. They will travel to Northern Highlands on Tuesday and have Indian Hills home on Thursday. They earned the No. 4 seed in North 1, Group 3 states and will play Wayne Valley in their state tournament opener on February 28 at home. |

SECAUCUS (17-3) --
The Patriots finally got an opportunity to play a quality team and dropped a 59-56 decision to Kennedy last Monday. They bounced back to trounce Harrison, 71-35, as Lindsey Mack had 26 points. They then beat a very good New Milford team, 70-47, as they built a 39-20 halftime advantage and were led by Amanda Ulrich's 22 points. Mack also had 21 points including her 1,000th point. They were given the No. 3 seed in the Hudson County Tournament and will most likely see Bayonne in the semifinals. They were also given the top seed in North 2, Group 1 and will open with University Charter on February 28. |

HOLY ANGELS (13-5) --
Sue Liddy’s crew had only one game last week and it was an overtime loss to IHA, 50-47, without their star Elizabeth Garcia, who is hopeful of returning this Thursday against Glen Rock. They were given the top seed in North Non-Public A and will get a bye to start the states. Will get the winner of Paramus Catholic and Pope John in the sectional semifinals |

EASTSIDE (13-6) -- The Ghosts struggled mightily against Wayne Valley on Saturday in the Passaic County quarterfinals as it was a 25-23 game after three quarters before the Ghosts pulled away for the 38-25 win and a date with Lakeland in the semifinals. They will play Lincoln on Monday night. They were awarded the No. 7 seed in North 1, Group 4 and will open the state tournament against North Bergen at home on February 27. |

NORTHERN HIGHLANDS (13-9) -- The Highlanders have lost three of their last four games including a tough loss to divisional foe Ridgewood at home on Friday night, 41-37, after leading 24-11 at halftime. Last Tuesday they beat Indian Hills, 54-45, as Breanne Davis hit for 23 points. They entertain Ramapo on Tuesday and travel to River Dell on Thursday. They were given the No. 2 seed in North 1, Group 3 and will get Demarest on February 28 at home. |

NV/OLD TAPPAN (12-11) -- Make it three straight and 7 of the last 9 in the win column, after a 49-47 win over Mahwah on the road on Saturday, The Golden Knights led the whole game, but blew a fourth quarter lead but got a Noelle Gonzalez basket with 30 seconds to break the tie, Sophie Downey finished with 20 points. Beat Tenafly, 53-42, led by Gonzalez's 22 points and then dominated Demarest 51-28 as Erin Harnisch had 19 points. The Knights earned the No. 11 seed in North 1, Group 3 and will travel to Wayne Hills on February 28. At Teaneck on Tuesday and Jefferson at home on Saturday. |

The Maroons pulled off another huge comeback on Friday night as they trailed Northern Highlands 24-11 at the break and rallied to win 41-37. Brielle Sharry had 15 points in the comeback. Last Tuesday they beat Hackensack, 37-29, as Claire Smesko had 12 points. They will play Paramus on Tuesday and were given the No. 8 seed in North 1, Group 4. Will open the state playoffs against Randolph on February 27. Would get top seed Morristown with a win |

The Highwaywomen had two wins last week over Bergenfield, 61-16, and Tenafly, 73-68, as Nahali Tittle scored 23 points in the latter one. The Knights lost to Secaucus for the second time this year, 70-47, and earlier last week they beat Dwight Englewood, 54-23, as Bionca Chambers scored 15 points. Leonia and Harrison this week and they were awarded the No. 8 seed in North 1, Group 2, steppin up from North 1, Group 1 where they won the section title last season. Will meet Newton at home on February 27. |
