SADDLE RIVER DAY (17-1) --
The Rebels are clearly a cut above right now and that was exemplified on Saturday in the Bergen County quarterfinals where they ran circles around Pascack Valley. They won that game 53-21 and led 34-6 at the half. As good as Michele Sidor has been, and she supplied 19 points, the defense might be even better . They will meet Old Tappan in the semifinals next Sunday at Ramapo College. Earlier in the week they beat Lawrenceville, 74-36, as Sidor had 37 and Emerson, 95-33. |

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION (12-5) --
The Blue Wolves sit firmly in the No. 2 spot after surviving a scare from Demarest in the Bergen County quarterfinals. IC won 52-47 after falling behind 9-2 to start. They got balanced scoring from Jasmin Gee, Breanne Bellerand and Jordan McLemore as they had 15,12 and 16 points respectively the rest of the way. They will meet Teaneck on Sunday in the semifinals. On Wednesday they lost to Blair, 62-57, after leading the whole game until the fourth quarter. |

NORTHERN VALLEY/OLD TAPPAN (16-3) -- The Golden Knights punched their ticket to the Bergen County semifinals with a 42-36 win over IHA on Saturday. Emily Crevani led the way with a huge 3 with just over a minute left to give her team a 5-point lead, and finished with 15 points. The Knights, who are trying to overcome the loss of two starters, Ariana Chipolone and Alexie Piccinich to ACL injuries, will meet Saddle River Day Sunday. Earlier in the week they beat Pascack Valley, 39-35, as Crevani had 16 points and Bergenfield, 52-17. |

TEANECK (13-4) --
The Highwaywomen came out on fire on Saturday, hitting every shot they put up in racing past Ramapo, 61-39. They hit 8 of their 12 3-point shots for the game (4 each for Milan Johnson and Hannah Ashby) and in the second half Teaneck shot 69-percent from the field, missing only 6 shots in the entire half. Johnson had 18 points, Cedaja James 17 points and Hannah Ashby 14 points. Two days earlier they beat Demarest on its home court, 45-38, and Tenafly 59-36 as James had 16 points. |

NORTHERN VALLEY/DEMAREST (11-6) --
The Norsewomen almost pulled off another upset, but fell a little short against Immaculate Conception, 52-47, in the Bergen County Tournament quarterfinals. The Corcoran sisters, Veronica and Victoria, combined for 26 points but it was not enough as they had three chances in final 30 seconds to tie it, but could not convert. They lost to Teaneck last Thursday, 45-38, and beat Bergenfield, 48-30. Big league game at Pascack Valley on Thursday. |

The Golden Griffins posted two rather easy wins, beating Dwight Englewood, 54-15, and then beat Ridgefield, 84-41. They visit Secaucus Monday afternoon. |

RAMAPO (15-4) -- The Raiders ran into a buzz saw on Saturday night in losing to the red hot shooting Teaneck, 61-39. Earlier in the week they had two solid wins, beating Ridgewood (49-39) as three players finished in double figures and then beat Indian Hills, 58-53, using a 20-9 fourth quarter to do it. Karlie Brogan and Emily Calabrese led the way by scoring 21 and 19, respectively and that puts them in the driver’s seat for a league title. Northern Highlands and IHA this week. |

KENNEDY (12-6) --
The Knights have taken control of Passaic County as they beat rival Eastside on Tuesday at home, 60-47, as Tajae Stevenson scored 22 points. They then beat Passaic Tech, 56-28, as Stevenson had 17 and Latice Cunningham had 16 points. Saturday they beat Marist, 61-36. Will play DePaul on Saturday in Passaic County quarterfinals. |

The Paladins are back in business after two really good wins this past week, starting with a 52-47 schocker over IHA as Sarah Scerbak had 15 points. Followed that up with a win at Holy Angels, 46-35, as Scerbak had 18 points in avenging an early season loss to the Angels. Look for the Paladins to continue to pick up wins and possibly face IHA again in the states. |
