SADDLE RIVER DAY (14-1) --
The Rebels sit firmly in the top spot heading into the Bergen County Quarterfinals next Saturday where they will meet Pascack Valley after beating up on Westwood, 61-32, in the Round of 16. Michelle Sidor led the Rebels with 28 points and had a flurry of 13 points in the second quarter to open up the game. Earlier in the week they beat Bogota 75-15 as Sidor had 19 points. |

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION (11-4) --
The Blue Wolves beat River Dell, 48-30, on Sunday afternoon in the Round of 16 of the Bergen County Tournament. IC openend a 31-12 halftime lead, and was led by Autumn Webster who had 12 points, all via the 3-pointer. Earlier in the week they knocked off Montclair, 53-41. Next up in the BCT is Demarest on Saturday in the quarterfinals. |

IMMACULATE HEART ACADEMY (10-4) --
The Blue Eagles move up to No. 3 due to all the teams in front of them losing and a 39-33 win over Old Tappan, which avenged a loss from in the Poli Tournament final. Jordan Wilmoth led the way with 12 points. The rubber match will come on Saturday in the Bergen County quarterfinals after IHA's convincing 41-19 win over No. 10 seed Ridgewood. Megan Swords scored 18 points in that win. |

NORTHERN VALLEY/OLD TAPPAN (13-3) -- The Golden Knights knocked off stubborn Indian Hills, 56-38, in the Bergen County Tournament to set up the rubber match with IHA in the quarterfinals. Emily Crevani eclipsed the 1,000-point mark on her way to 20 points, including 7 in a row to open the game up early in the fourth quarter. The Knights lost to IHA during the week, 39-33, before beating Ridgefield Park 60-29 as Ariana Chipolone had 21 points. They travel to PV on Tuesday. |

EASTSIDE (9-8) --
The Ghosts played another top team, this time St. Rose, which is currently No. 11 in NJ and they lost 54-43 on Sunday afternoon. Earlier in the week they beat DePaul, 65-50, behind Precious Featherstone’s 17 points and then beat Wayne Valley, 53-27, as Blessing Ejiojor had 10 points. They will meet their in town rival Kennedy at Kennedy on Tuesday. |

NORTHERN VALLEY/DEMAREST (10-4) --
What a week it was for the Norsewomen, as they jump 6 spots. They produced the upset of the Bergen County Tournament so far as they handed Queen of Peace its first loss of the season, 69-68, with Mackenzie Press' buzzer beater. Victoria Corcoran scored 36 points, 25 by halftime. Two days earlier NV/D upset Ramapo, 47-39, as it rallied in the fourth quarter. Victoria Corcoran was the star in that one as well as she had 18. Remember, this team also knocked off PV a few weeks ago. They get Teaneck on Thursday and top-seeded Immaculate Conception in the BCT quarterfinals. |

PASCACK VALLEY (13-3) --
The Indians continue to roll along as they easily took care of 11th-seeded Holy Angels, 57-41, in the BCT Round of 16 as Kelly Smith led the way with 17 points. The Indians will meet Saddle River Day in the quarterfinals on Saturday. Earlier in the week they dispatched of Wayne Hills, 48-36, as Briana Wong had 15 points. They get Old Tappan on Tuesday. |

RAMAPO (13-3) -- The Raiders showed some rust after being off a week as they dropped a 47-39 decision at Demarest after being in control most of the game. They followed that up by beating a pesky Ridgefield Park, 57-52, behind Emily Calabrese’s 18 points and 14 rebounds. Sam Rinaldi went for 27 for RP. The Raiders will meet Teaneck on Saturday in the 4/5 quarterfinal matchup in the county tournament. Ridgewood and Indian Hills this week. |

TEANECK (10-4) --
The Highwaywomen drop three spots after losing two straight games during the week, the first at Northern Highlands, a 59-43 loss in which they were thoroughly outplayed. Then traveled to Indian Hills and lost again, 61-53. However, on Saturday they regrouped and got some revenge on Northern Highlands in the Bergen County Tournament, beating the Highlanders handily, 56-38 behind Cedeja James 22 points. They will face Ramapo on Saturday in the quarterfinals. Demarest on Thursday. |

QUEEN OF PEACE (13-1) --
Welcome to the Big North Conference! The Golden Griffins struggled all day with Demarest and were stunned at the buzzer, 69-68, as they were eliminated from the Bergen County Tournament. Many thought the Griffins would reach the finals, including myself, but it was not meant to be this season. They will now turn their attention to a Non-Public B state state tournament run a month from now and possibly a meeting with SRD or IC one that we thought we would see in the coming weeks. |

KENNEDY (9-6) --
The Knights beat Passaic Valley, 64-28, as Tajae Stevenson went for 25 points in the easy win. Kennedy awaits the winner of the 8/9 game between DePaul and Clifton in the Passaic County Tournament quarterfinals. Eastside pays a visit on Tuesday. |

RIDGEWOOD (12-5) --
The Maroons continue to have an excellent season as they posted wins over Bergenfield, 52-24, and Paramus Catholic, 43-40, as Jordan Iannone led the way in both games with 26 total points. They suffered a tough 41-19 loss to IHA on Sunday in the Bergen County Tournament's Round of 16. Travel to Ramapo on Tuesday night. |

NORTHERN HIGHLANDS (10-6) --
The Highlanders move up a few spots after beating Teaneck, 59-43, in what might have been their best game of the season. Madison Grossman scored 16 points. However, they played four days later and were beaten by Teaneck, 56-38, in the county tournament. They posted a 71-62 win over Midland Park on Monday to get the county tournament started. Next big game is Feb. 9 at Ramapo. |

INDIAN HILLS (9-7) -- The Braves have been playing great basketball as of late, taking Pascack Valley to overtime two weeks ago and backed that up with an upset win vs. Teaneck, 61-53, as Angela Saric had 15 points. With their upset win of Ramsey in the county tournament they got Old Tappan on Saturday and were within four points at the half before falling 56-38. They also beat Hackensack, 56-48, as Saric scored 26 points. Ramapo heads to Oakland on Thursday night. |

The Cardinals started the week with a big 65-25 opening round county win over Glen Rock and ended the week with 61-32 loss to third seeded Saddle River Day. In between they beat Dwight Morrow, 57-36, as Sam McClutchy hit the magic 1,000-point mark. She finished with 24 points. |

The Bees continue to win behind all-County player Madison McGlone. She scored 21 points in a 63-56 win over Marist. They then easily beat Hudson Catholic, 56-36, behind Niamani Marshall’s 16 points. |

RIVER DELL (10-5) -- The Hawks added three wins this week including an opening round county win over Mahwah, 46-39, on Monday. Emma Plutnicki was the spark, hitting three 3-pointers in the first half. Plutnicki starred again in a 59-54 win over Dumont as she had 32 points and made 10 3s. They beat Paramus, 45-20, before falling to Immaculate Conception, 48-30, in the counties on Sunday. Ramsey on Thursday in a huge league game. |
