NORTH JERSEY -- Delayed a day because the snow made it a quiet week, we awoke on Tuesday to a changed landscape in North Jersey wrestling. We talk about the situation in Paramus where Steve Klass has been removed as the Spartans' head coach. Then it is on to our deep guest list. Joe Dubuque, high school state champ, NCAA national champ and the current assistant coach at Princeton University, joins us to talk about the Tigers' busy weekend, which includes Sunday's matchup up against Rutgers in the Battle for New Jersey.
Then it is on to Kevin Mulligan, Bergen Catholic's senior 195-pound defending state champion, who talks about his drive for a second straight state title and his commitment to wrestle at Rutgers. He declines to give any inside information about our co-host Donnie Spataro, however We also talk to Emerson/Park Ridge's Sam Schneider, the senior who has dropped to 132 pounds and is looking to make another run in Atlantic City, where he finished seventh last year.
We also touch on the power points and the chase for the state playoffs by two of our other panelists, Pascack Valley head coach Tom Gallione and Westwood assistant Mike Attanasio, on this jam-packed edition of The Wrestling Show!
