DUMONT -- This week's NorthJerseySports.com Athlete of the Week (for the week ending April 10) is Dumont High School's Jennifer Sweeney.
Sweeney has been a huge reason for the Huskies' surprising undefeated start to the season. She opened the week with a seven-strikeout performance against Cliffside Park; helping her own cause by going 2-for-4 at the plate with a double. The junior then posted a career-high 16 strikeouts to go along with a homerun against Ridgefield Park before tossing a one-hit shutout against Pascack Hills.
