WALDWICK -- This week's NorthJerseySports.com Athlete of the Week (for the week ending October 2) is Waldwick junior soccer player Madison Archer.
Archer had not scored a goal yet this season, but she picked the perfect time to for her first one. She buried a shot into the upper 90 to give Waldwick a first round Bergen County Tournament upset of Fair Lawn. Three days later she did it again as she scored the lone goal in the Warriors upset of 12th seeded Demarest.
