IMMACULATE HEART ACADEMY (27-2) --
The Blue Eagles let the Non Public A title slip through their hands, losing to SJ-Vianney, 50-46, after leading 33-19 at the half. The Blue Eagles had a hard time with the defensive pressure they were facing in the second half in scoring only 13 points. Caitlin Roche lead IHA with 14 points in defeat. Junior Jordan Wilmoth, the only starter returning next season, finished with 13. Nonetheless almost a flawless season for the Bergen County champions. |

EASTSIDE (25-4) --
The Ghosts lost in the North 1, Group 4 state sectional final to East Orange, 50-40. They were outscored 29-18 in the second half on their home court. Taylor Brown finished her brilliant career with 8 points as she heads off to Clemson. The Ghosts, like IHA, will graduate four senior starters. |

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION (23-8) --
The Blue Wolves' season ended with a 56-49 loss to St. Rose (Belmar), the No. 2 team in the state, in the Non-Public B State final. It was Samantha Feuring’s final game as she wrapped up a brilliant career in which she amassed almost 2,200 points before heading off to Louisville. |

SECAUCUS (27-1) --
The Patriots' incredible season in which they won 27 straight before falling to eventual Group 1 State Champ New Providence did not go unnoticed. They defeated many larger schools along the way, such as Group 3 finalist Old Tappan, Non-Public North A finalist Paramus Catholic, Group 2 state finalist Westwood, Group 4 Kennedy, Group 2 Lincoln for the Hudson County title, Bergen county semifinalist Saddle River Day, and a solid Group 3 High Point. Seniors Julia McClure, Andie Lennon and Kendall Caruso certainly left their mark. |

NORTHERN VALLEY/OLD TAPPAN (22-8) --
The Knights finished their season on the short end of a 50-42 decision to the No. 11 team in the state, Middletown South, in the Group 3 state final. They fell behind 25-5 before making a valiant effort in the second half. The Knights captured the North 1, Group 3 sectional title with a 55-46 win at Ramapo. Kailyn Sytsma had 17 as she hit two huge 3s late in the third and to start the fourth that made a 37-34 lead balloon to 43-34. The Knights beat Nutley, 44-28, in the Group 3 semifinal as Systma again had 14. Ariana Chipolone scored 11 and went over 1,000 points for her career. |

WESTWOOD (27-4) --
The Cardinals also finished their season with a valiant effort in falling to Manasquan, the No. 1 team in the state, 67-52, in the Group 2 final. Jaide Hinds-Clarke and Sam McClutchey hit for 18 and 17, respectively. The Cardinals claimed their first sectional title since 1988 by defeating Ramsey for the third time, 31-22, behind Hinds-Clarke's 10 points and Olivia Cassisdy’s three big 3-pointers. They then took out Newark Tech, 49-44, in state semifinal game as Sam McClutchey led the team with 19 points. Senior Emily Molk scored the final 7 points of the game to seal their trip to Toms River. |

PARAMUS CATHOLIC (21-8) --
Paladins concluded a very good year in Al Roth’s final season. Four of the eight losses were to IHA. Seniors Destinee Hall, Jasmin Wilson and Nyree Grant all finished fantastic careers with a great senior season. |

SADDLE RIVER DAY (21-7) --
The Rebels had a terrific season that concluded in a loss to Immaculate Conception, 51-39. However, the Rebels did lead by two early in the fourth quarter before having the wheels come off. Their terrific season included a semifinal appearance in the Bergen County tournament, and wins over Group 3 champion Middletown South, a big win over Northern Highlands and High Point on the road. |

Outstanding season that ended with a loss to Old Tappan in sectional semifinals. They lose Melissa Heath, Caroline Lovisolo and Rachel Jubelt to graduation. |

RAMAPO (24-6) -- The Green Raiders outstanding season came to a close last Mondaynight as they dropped a 55-46 decision to Old Tappan in the section final. The Raiders top two scorers, junior Karlie Brogan and sophmore Emily Calabrese, next season. |

The Lions dropped their sectional final game at home to Newark Tech, 47-39. Kiante Johnson finished an amazing career hitting for 17 in her final game. |

NORTHERN VALLEY/DEMAREST (18-6) --
Norsewomen had a terrific year with quality wins over Paramus Catholic, Old Tappan on the road late to claim a share of the league title, and beating Teaneck two out of three games. Lindsay Steffner, one of the top coaches in the county, returns four starters for next season including the talented Corcoran sisters. |

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS (22-6) --
What a great season by the Aviators as they captured the North 1, Group 1 title by beating Wood Ridge on its home court, 40-27, after losing the previous two meetings. They were led by their star guard Junior Stacy Porzl, who hit for 13 points. Their season came to an end in the state semifinal in a 55-42 loss to New Providence, which went on to claim the Group 1 state championship on Sunday. |
