Everybody loves rankings, so we jump back in the game with our very won Richie Ballgame keeping track of all things soccer. A Top 10 is just plain old lazy, so we stack up the Top 12 teams in Bergen, Hudson and Passaic Counties.

1. CLIFTON -- The Mustangs finished as the No. 1 team in New Jersey last fall and have followed that up with another impressive start. Erik Dymora had three shutouts in between the pipes last week as Clifton moved to 4-0 on the season.

2. DON BOSCO PREP – Massimo Rodio and Armando Santana have paced a loaded Ironmen attack. They scored 11 goals in a 3-0 week, highlighted by a win over archrival Bergen Catholic.

3. CLIFFSIDE PARK -- It was Deja Vu all week long for the Red Raiders, winning all three of their games by a score of 4-0. A showdown with Dumont on Tuesday looms with first place in the Big North-American Division on the line.

4. KEARNY -- Soccertown U.S.A. Is currently hosts the state's highest-scoring team, averaging an eye-popping nine goals a game through this point. The Kardinals also possess North Jersey's leading scorer, Juan Rosas, who has eight goals and two assists. But the competition will ramp up, starting on Tuesday in a tough match with St. Peter's Prep.

5. WAYNE HILLS-- The Patriots have showed a balanced attack with seven different goal scorers thus far. Leading the way is the player with the coolest name in North Jersey by a whisker. Asian Kat is a dangerous threat with the ball at his feet. He has two goals and an assist so far this season.

6. BERGEN CATHOLIC -- The Crusaders bounced back from a disappointing performance against Don Bosco Prep with two straight shutouts, capped by a hat trick from Jake Sweeney in a win over DePaul.

7. NORTHERN HIGHLANDS -- Wyatt Cosgriff has been rock solid in net for the Highlanders. They opened the season with an impressive win over Ramapo and have allowed just one goal all season en route to a 3-0-1 mark. That includes a current streak of 240-plus minutes without allowing a goal.

8. DICKINSON -- Senior leadership has shined for the Rams so far this season. After getting beaten twice by St. Peter's Prep last year by a combined score of 10-1, senior Sebastian Dalhoff had a goal and an assist as the Rams pulled the 2-0 upset over the Marauders this season to improve to 3-0 on the season.

9. HARRISON -- Under the tutelage of Mike Rusek with his brother John as his lead assistant, the Blue Tide are never in rebuilding mode. Few teams can display the balance a team like Harrison has year in and year out. That is evident this year as the Blue Tide have scored seven goals this season from seven different players on their way to a 3-0 start.
