NORTH JERSEY -- There is so much made of the way All-County Teams are picked by various local media outlets and coaches associations, so we skipped all of the politics and did it the old fashioned way: with the eye test. We watch a lot of live basketball here at NorthJerseySports.com and while we are not qualified for much else, we do consider ourselves well-versed in what an All-County player looks like.
Here's what we did...We made three teams for Bergen County because of the amount of schools located there and did two each for both Passaic County and Hudson County. Richie Ballgame, The Unknown Ranker and Cory Doviak each submitted our votes and, two days later after we got done with all of that math, we came up with the best of the best boys basketball players in North Jersey.
After you peruse our all-county teams, we also voted on Players of the Year for each county, and an All-North Jersey team with the top seven players from our coverage area in our Special Awards section.
