NORTH JERSEY -- OK, so the show got off to a late start this season, but we are busy making up for lost time. We talk to River Dell girls coach Steve Grenz, whose team upset IHA in the Bergen County quarterfinals, Clifton head coach Stan Lembryck, whose team will play for the Passaic County boys title on Saturday and Fair Lawn boys coach Matt Cecconi, whose team handed Bergen Catholic its first loss of the season earlier this week. Cecconi is also in the unique position of being a Bergen County coach who can give us a breakdown of what to expect in the Passaic County championship match.
We have interviews from wins by Ramapo and Old Tappan in the Bergen County boys semifinals, we go off on a tangent to talk academy vs. high school soccer and make our picks for all of the big matches coming up this weekend.
