RIDGEWOOD -- This week's NorthJerseySports.com Athlete of the Week (for the week ending May 8) is Ridgewood's Cooper Telesco.
Telesco had a goal and three assists in an 11-9 win over Bergen Catholic in the Bergen County semifinals on Thursday. In the county final, on Saturday, Telesco tallied four goals, including the game-tying score with 13.3 seconds left in regulation, to help the Maroons to an 11-10 win in overtime and their first county title since 2011.
