SADDLE RIVER DAY (27-2) --
The Rebels captured their first ever Non-Public B North title when they beat Queen of Peace, 66-63, in the much anticipated matchup. Dani McMahon sank a free throw with 7 seconds left for the 64-63 lead and Jackie Wolak stole the inbounds pass and scored at the buzzer to preserve the win. The Rebels fell behind 61-60 with 50 seconds left, but SRD answered. Michelle Sidor finished with 21 points. The Rebels' season ended in a 69-40 loss to Rutgers Prep in the Non-Public B state final. |

NORTHERN VALLEY/OLD TAPPAN (26-4) -- The Golden Knights got some redemption as they knocked off Middletown South 47-36 to capture the Group 3 State championship. Emily Crevani scored 20 points and had two huge steals in the fourth quarter to preserve the win. The Knights went on an 18-0 run to finish the half up 23-5. Middletown South cut the lead to 37-31 with 3 minutes left, however a steal and six free throws by Crevani sealed the title. They will meet Lenape in the TOC on Wednesday. The run to the states started with a 47-35 win over Ramapo in the sectional final and they beat Voorhees, 56-53, in the Group 3 semis. |

3.
QUEEN OF PEACE (24-2) --
The Griffins suffered a tough defeat to Saddle River Day as they led for most of the second quarter and third quarters before falling behind. They rallied to take the lead with 50 seconds left as DeeDee Salas nailed a 3 but could not make the lead hold up. They return most of their entire roster for next season and will once again be among the county favorites. |

KENNEDY (22-10) --
The Lady Knights' run to the Group 4 State title was cut short by Lenape in the finals in a 50-35 loss in Toms River. After a high scoring first quarter where the Knights trailed 18-14 they were then outscored 24-14. Tajae Stevenson led with 14 points. The game leading to the final was a thrilling 51-47 win over East Orange Stevenson scored 18 points including a FT in the closing seconds to preserve the win.. The Knights used a 47-43 win over rival Eastside to gain their first sectional title since 2012. |

EASTSIDE (20-11) --
The Ghosts lost to Kennedy 47-43 in the sectional final. These two rivals split their four meetings during the year. The Ghosts captured the Passaic County title, but lost the battle for the state sectional title |

IMMACULATE HEART ACADEMY (20-7) --
The Blue Eagles captured their fifth straight Non-Public A North title as they easily beat an overmatched Pope John team, 59-36, as the inside tandem of Jordan Wilmoth and Megan Swords combined for 36 points. Beat Paramus Catholic, 48-30, as they built a 13-2 lead after the first quarter. Those two wins set up the Non Public A state final against St. John Vianney where the Eagles fell behind 40-9 at the break on their way to a 72-31 loss. |

8.
RAMAPO (21-8) -- The Raiders, for the second straight season, fell to the Group 3 state champion Old Tappan in the North 1, Group 3 section final, this time 45-33 in Old Tappan. The Raiders led in the first quarter until Emily Crevani banked in a 3 at the buzzer to retake the lead. The Raiders hung around and closed a 10-point deficit to 35-31 and had the ball with 2 minutes remaining in the game, but missed a shot and OT converted on the other end to extend the lead to 6. The Raiders were led by Emily Calabrese with 11 points and she will return for the Raiders next season |

TEANECK (17-8) --
Solid season for the Highwaywomen as they advanced to the County Semifinals, they graduate four seniors with Cedeja James the only returning starter. |

NEW MILFORD (25-5) --
The Knights capped a tremendous year by capturing the North 1, Group 1 state sectional title, beating Midland Park, 50-40, in the final. They used a 16-5 third quarter run to create some separation and used Bionca Chambers' 16 points to finish off the win. Vianca Soriano added 14 points in the win, which set up a state semifinal game against University. The Knights fought hard but they were unable to match the size and quickness and fell, 60-37, to end their season. |
